Contest Rules

• Grand Prizes awarded in the following categories:   

                Lace
                Colorwork
                Technique
                Facebook Favorite
                Best in Show
                

Shawls and Shawlettes are eligible.  If you are unsure if your item is eligible please ask.

• Each contestant is allowed one entry. 
• Yarn must be purchased at The Yarn Gallery.  Proof of purchase or approval of store owner is needed if yarn is not purchased at sign up.
• Shawls can be made from any pattern you choose.  
• The Yarn Gallery will determine into which category your item will be entered.  
• Items will remain on display from Aug. 1st -8th.  Voting by the public will be done at this time during the First Friday Art Walk and Tall Timber Days.
• The Yarn Gallery will make every effort to protect your item while on display at the store.  However The Yarn Gallery shall not be held responsible for any damage or loss during the contest.
• Prizes will be determined and announced at a later date.
